Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was examined that the metacognitive behaviours of 8th grade students who have different mathematical success degrees in the process of problem solving. The study which based on on case study occurred with the attendance of 36 8th grade students. Datas that assembled by using multi-methodical contact technique, are subjected to content analysis. In consequence of analysises it was seen that students that wunderkind exhibited more behavior by spent more time and students who were low-grade exhibited that it was hard to understand the problem sentence by spent less time in the process of problem solving. In the process of problem solving students who have, superior, good and average success exhibited behaviors that belong evaluating extent. Students who have low success exhibited behaviors that belong awareness extent and it was stated that they had difficulty in making evaluation. Besides it was extrapolated that, groups generally started the process the behavior that belong awareness extend and they used the behaviors belong regulation extent and they completed the process with the behavior that belong evaluation extent. 2019, 118 Pages Keywords: 8th Grade, Problem Solving, Metacognitive
