Abstract (EN)
Disputes arising from the differences of political opinion in the Islamic world in the middle ages resulted in the emergence of various parties which oppose the central administration. Consequently, a numerous political or faith-based sects appeared and a hostility derived from the difference of opinion has lasted until today. Disagreements which arose after the Prophet Mohammad's death caused the division of a single central administration of Muslims into various sectarian administrations in time. In this regard, the Shi'a which became the center of the opposing view had the differences of opinion in itself as well, and has been divided into different parties. Ismailiyyah has been the most extremist of these parties. Nizârî Ismailis which was led by Hasan Sabbah and adopted this opinion have become prominent with their devastating acts, and later became the biggest problem of Khorasan Seljuk State during the middle ages. This construct which started with a sectarian propaganda, gained legitimacy and turned into a political authority and later gained strength in the Islamic geography by assassinating important figures.
