Abstract (EN)
Cannabis (cannabis) is one of the oldest types of drugs (psychoactive) substances obtained from the cannabis plant. The substance in question affects cannabinoid receptors in metabolism called CB1 and CB2. Synthetic cannabinoid type drugs that are the subject of our review appear to be different from cannabis as a chemical structure, but they are drugs called the new generation that act on CB1 and CB2 receptors like them. The first active ingredient detected in such the drug industry is the synthetic cannabinoid JWH-018, popularly referred to as "Bonzai". The active ingredient of cannabis is "delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC)". The next generation of drugs is chemically similar to this factor. Synthetic cannabinoids, the effects of which are similar to the effect of THC when used as cigarettes, were first introduced online in Europe in early 2004. These drugs, which are stronger and lasting longer than Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, pose major health problems. The use of these factors, which continue to be increasingly continuous all over the world, is increasing among all social sectors in our country. For this reason, since 2010, some of these substances have been included among the banned substances according to the "Early Warning System" in our country. However, since the chemical structures of synthetics are changing rapidly and continuously, there are also difficulties in controlling and detecting them. For this reason, more intensive studies should be carried out on the widespread misuse, identification and prohibition of synthetic cannabinoids. The main purpose of this study is to identify these drugs called synthetic cannabinoids using the Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry device. As a result of the studies, many active substances were determined in a short time with the most appropriate analysis method selected.
