Abstract (EN)
Background and Objectives: Hepatitis B and Synthetic Cannabinoids are important public health problems and are preventable public health problems. Alcohol, cigarettes, heroin etc. dependence on materials can suppress both acquired and natural immun response by damaging the immune system. The main aim of this study was to investigate the possible effect of JWH-018 on antibody titer changes before or after Hepatitis B vaccination. Materials and Methods: 25 mice (C57BL6) were used in the study. Mice were divided into 3 groups. JWH-018 and Hepatitis B vaccine were administered to the experimental group. Control group mice received only Hepatitis B vaccine. Blood from mice was read at 405 nm in the ELISA reader. Results: The statistical difference was statistically significant between the control group and Experimental Group 1 measurements between 1st and 3rd measurements (p<0.05). There was a statistical difference between the control group and Experiment Group 2 measurements only among the 3th measurements (p<0.05). Conclusion: In this study, the use of JWH-018 has been shown to be effective on the anti-HBs parameter. In addition, we believe that this study may shed light on the scientific studies on how JWH-018 increases the antibody titer of Hepatitis B vaccine.
