Abstract (EN)
Cellulose based polymeric adhesive mortars are commonly used in constructions. These materials differ in fresh form compared to traditional cement based mortars in terms of rheological properties. At the same time, it is expected that these admixtures have high adherence with the material to be adhered and that they have certain mechanical properties. In the scope of thesis, nine pieces of mortar were prepared by using hydroxy-ethyl cellulose (HES) and methyl-hydroxy-ethyl cellulose (MHES). The admixture dosage of 1.00%, 0.50% and 0.25% was used in 3 different ratios by the cement weight. Cement mortars are characterized primarily in terms of rheological behavior and then in fresh form; setting time, water retention capacities, unit volume weights and flow diameters were determined. In the hardened state, 28 days of adherence (pull-off) tests in combination with and 7 and 28 days flexural and compression tests were carried out. In conclusion, variations in the rheological and mechanical properties of cellulose derivatives with different chemical origins have been determined and the potential advantages and potential problems by using these admixture have been evaluated.
