The application of the Art of the Seljuks Tile in the faculties which education of ceramics is held

The phenomenon of art carrying on from the existance of men to today, has changed according to the men?s aspect of life in every period that men had,and the art has occured in different way in every period. In those periods,the artists have created different styles with different materials that they could had with the conditions of that time when they created the works.One of the branches of art,ceramics is an art of 8000 years,which existed in anatolia and was started to be applied after the discovery of fire. As old as the humanbeing,this art has been a means which enlighted history by holding different cultures qualities in different styles and in different civilizations.The period of Seljuks in Anatolia Turkish Art of tile and ceramics has developed especially in XIII and XIX centuries,and has been appreciated with various styles,colors and motifs.It is essential that these works, which are the successful and nice samples of their periods and made with different techniques,should be saved; this cultural heritage should be inherited to the foregoing generations to have the conscious of this inheritance;and today and tomorrow?s union should be ensured by the union of characteristic form and the formal style with the styles of modern art. This information and experience,which worth a hundred years and the most important-which is our history,should be added into the different curriculums which students have through educations.Like the construction of which base is strong can stand the difficulties of different periods,the imformation of the past in art will be our base to stand. When we unite our strong bases with the contemporary art flows,we will howe canscious of art which is not only extraordinary but also modern which holds the variety of identities and is ours.Thus,the subject of research has much importance.It is aimed in this research that the point which tile of Seljuks has come in the aspect of technique, style and decoration from the period of Seljuks today in the faculties of ceramics in our country should be sowed. And it is again aimed that cultural heritance should be saved in the departments which tile ceramics are used, and the form of apply is searched.And it is guestioned that;the thoughts of students in the faculties of ceramics,about tile art of Seljuks,the original technigues and besides it what kind of techniques can be applied and used in which places,what could be done to keep these works alive,what the problems are in this subject.
