Özet (EN)
Ceramic art, which identifies itself with the name of the material its used, has questioned its own existence during the birth of itself to the contemporary art from tradition and kept the relation to other materials with in this frame. The fact that ceramic objects that created in the past are interacted to user with other materials, constitutes the basis of using different materials in contemporary ceramics sculpture. In today's contemporary art environment, where boundaries are increasingly disappearing, the acceptance of ceramics as an art language has become easier, like the other art branches whose takes its roots from craft. This limitless state has made the art of ceramics more open to other materials and new techniques. In this atmosphere, ceramics and other materials to come together as a conscious choice of artist has become more important than ever. Understanding importance of material as a language of creation will be stronger with a broader view of the use of different materials. Practices made through this method provide us a broader perspective to see position of contemporary ceramic art.
