Serigraphytechnique in ceremics, usage of today in Kütahya tiles and original applications

The technique of Serigraphy is an important technique in the field of art and industry. Due to the versatility of this technique in its important areas, it has come to the forefront among other existing printing systems. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first chapter; The definition of Serigraphy technique in ceramic, general world history and modern Serigraphy technique are described. Used materials in serigraphy technique were determined and these materials were tried to be explained. In the second chapter; Information about the history of Kütahya Tile. Serigraphy technique; The importance, usage and necessity of Kütahya in Tile, ceramic and ceramic art were observed. Workshop's on the production and application of serigraphy technique have been identified and explained which has an important potential on today's Kütahya tiles and ceramics. In the third and last chapter; Kütahya tile patterns and motifs are interpreted, and Serigraphy techniques have been applied together with original applications.
