A new approaches in exhibition design and an application

Representing, collecting and sharing are the irrevocable behaviours since the history of man. Moreover, through the history, this behaviours are transformed to symbols of power and status. Besides them, collecting and representing impulses had an important role about reserving and transfering the information through the history of man. About this subject, that is the point overlaps the graphic design and it?s history is arranging and managing this huge amount of information. At this point graphic design meets a new area named Exhibition Design.In this thesis named, ?A new approaches in exhibition design and an application?, submitting a general view of this area which known as ?young? at western countries, and which known as a ?new? at Turkey. In order to make a immerse and well framing about subject, firstly, thesis present its researchings about exhibiting, and exhibition design history. After that, thesis approaches a exhibiting behaviour as a design discipline and classify it. Also thesis researches and addresses the position of graphic designers within the exhibition design field. At this point, through this subject, project researches and shows the succesfull examples around the world.At the last part, project studies about the process of exhibition design. Also at this part, thesis determines the contemporary design innovations about exhibition design, and looks forward about the future of this area.
