Abstract (EN)
Objective: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the effects of Coenzyme Q10, Myoinositol, Asta Xanthine and L-Arginine values in the follicular fluid obtained during serum and oocyte collection on oocyte maturation, fertilization and pregnancy outcomes, as well as to evaluate the correlation between serum and follicular fluid levels and other parameters simultaneously. If meaningful results are obtained in this evaluation, an economical and easily accessible test that can be used to predict the success of assisted reproduction technique will be found, and the success rates of the treatment will be increased in the conclusion of a healthy pregnancy. Materials and Methods: Coenzyme Q10, Myoinositol, Asta Xanthine and L-Arginine values were studied in the serum on Day-3 and OPU days and follicular fluids collected of 60 patients who were taken to the IVF protocol in our clinic between October 2021 and October 2022. The relationship between Coenzyme Q10, Myoinositol, Asta Xanthine and L-Arginine levels with oocyte maturation, fertilization and pregnancy outcomes was evaluated statistically. Results: No correlation was found between the number of mature oocytes and fertilized oocytes and the values of Coenzyme Q10, Myoinositol, Asta xanthine and L-arginine measured from serum and follicle (p<0.05). A negative correlation was observed between total gonadotropin doses and the number of collected oocytes, mature oocytes and fertilized oocytes (p<0.05). There was no significant difference in the serum taken on the 3rd day of the follicular phase, in the serum on the day of oocyte retrieval, and in Coenzyme Q1O, Myoinositol and L-arginine values measured from the follicle between the pregnant and non-pregnant women (p<0.05). When the Asta xanthine value measured in the serum on the 3rd day of the follicular phase was ≤ 0.3035, the probability of pregnancy was found to be higher. No significant difference was found between clinical pregnancy and biochemical pregnancy in Coenzyme Q1O, Asta xanthine and L-arginine values measured in the serum taken on the 3rd day of the follicular phase, in the serum on the day of oocyte retrieval, and in the follicle (p<0.05). The possibility of biochemical pregnancy was found to be higher when the Myoinositol value measured in serum on the day of oocyte retrieval was ≥ 1.6555. XVI Conclusion: For stronger results of our research hypothesis, studies with larger patient populations are needed. Key Words: Follicle fluid, Serum, Infertility, IVF, Coenzyme Q10, Myoinositol, Asta Xanthine, L-Arginine
