Abstract (EN)
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is an architectural style which allows interaction of diverse applications regardless of their platform, implementation languages and locations by utilizing generic and reliable services that can used as application building block. SOA includes methodologies and strategies to follow in order to develop sophisticated applications and information systems. In recent years, mobile devices are become widespread. Mobile computing systems are different from other computing systems in the way of usage purposes, designes and operating styles. Distinguishing properties of mobile computing systems are wireless connection, small size, power supply and features for mobile users. This thesis aims at pursuing two goals. Fist one is to provide a general overview of the field of SOA and mobile computing and to explain different ways of developing applications. Second goal is to develop a mobile patient tracking system to follow hemophilia patients outside of the hospital.
