Özet (EN)

Ce-based hydroxyapatite (HAp) samples doped with Yb were produced using the wet chemical method. The effects of increased Yb addition on the structural, thermal, and in vitro biocompatibility properties of Ce-based HAp were investigated. The only phase detected for all samples was HAp and no formation of new phases was observed. Yb additive was observed to produce changes in mesh parameters and unit cell volume. Both crystallite size and crystallization percent values decreased with increasing Yb amount. Changes in lattice strain and lattice stress values were observed. With the addition of Yb, anisotropic energy density increased. All of the samples were found to be thermally stable from room temperature to 1000 ° C. It was observed that negligible mass losses occurred in the samples in this temperature range. No significant changes in morphology were observed. For all samples (Ca+Ce+Yb)/P molar ratio was found to be close to the stoichiometric value (1.67). It was observed that the increased Yb additive caused a decrease in cell viability values.
