A review of Sevgi Özel's stories and novels

This masters thesis have been revealed to specify he role and importance of Sevgi Özel in the history of Turkish literature with methods of contemporary approaches; who came into prominence with the identity of linguist, but have many successfully short stories and novels. Thesis has five components. The first part is about her life, literary personality and works. The second part is about her " short stories analysis". The third part is about her "novels analysis". The analysis at the second and third parts are try tolook these works from her meanings and her style. The forth part's title is "narrative technique". At this part we look edn arrative techniques of the short stories and novels. At the fifth part, named "Language andstyle", analyzed the style like dialects, similes, doublingsetc. At the last part of this thesis discussed the role and importance of Sevgi Özel in Turkish literature with the findings obtained in accordance.
