Examining Shawqi dayf's books en-Nakd and fi'n-Nakdi'l edebî

In this study, the life of Shawqi Dayf, famous scholar in criticism in Arap literature and his works named ?en-Nakd and Fi?n-Nakdi?l-Edebî are searched. Our study consisits of four parts. In the first part, the purpose of the study and methods are explained. In the second part, information about Shawqi Dayf?s life and his books are given. In the third part, information about ?the content of `en-Nakd? and the topics the scholar mentioned are searched. In the fourth part, information about the content of the Fi?n-Nakdi?l-Edebî? and the topics the scholar mentioned are searched. In the conclusion part , the assesment of ?en-Nakd? and ?Fî?n-Nakdi?l-Edebî? was made briefly.
