Inorder to make our aim understood better by both the readers of Classical Turkish Musicand Literature fields, the Introduction part includes Şeyh Galib?s life, works, literarystyle etc.; the first, second and third parts include the relationship between usul andvezin by telling each as well as short explanations about verbal musıc forms, terennümsand lafzi ornaments apart from terennüm. In the fourth part, several examinations havebeen made concerning usul-vezin of composed works, terennüms, lafzi ornaments apartfrom terennüm and the repetitions made in the work. Terennüms and repetitions havebeen evaluated within the relationship of usul-vezin and its advantages anddisadvantages have been mentioned according to this relationship.Key Words: Seyh Galip, Usûl-Vezin, Terennüms, repetitions
