Sheikh?ul-Islam Minkarizade Yahya Efendi?s views about family law and analysis

This thesis includes translation of divorce subject a chapter from the Ottoman Sheikh?ul-Islam Minkarizade Yahya Efendi?s views about family law, fixing the footnotes he gaved if they are in the books which have been given as sources, knowledges about the books and authors that he attributed to them, tha relation between district and viempoint and Sheikh?ul-Islam association in Ottomans.This study consists of an introduction and three chapters. In the introduction the subject, aim and method will be clarified. In the first chapter informations will be given about Sheikh?ul-Islam?s about live and books, the relation between district and viewpoint, the Sheikh?ul-Islam association in Ottoman Empire. In the second chapter, the viewpoints and the Arabic footnotes will bw translated to Turkish and informations will be given about the books and authors that passed. In the third chapter the book will be inquired and appraised formally. And in the consequence part the book will be evaluated generally.
