The investigation of Seyrânî's poems inclusivity according to values education in order to include in secondary school course books

The values which play a role in the poems of one the XIXth century poets Everekli Seyrânîî, and the possibility of these values to be included to the Turkish lesson textbooks at junior highschools have been examined. The most remarkable owners of these " values", which have been transmitted from father to son within a sequel due to the historical continuity, are without any doubt poets and authors. The masterpieces of the poets and authors who reflected the values which were shaped by the major believe and culture of the ages they lived in into their works, have been subject to many studies in this respect. Virtues like love, friendship, modesty, responsibility, solidarity, hospitality, favour, morals, strenuousness, loyalty, self reliance, love, tolerance, cooperation, sharing, bad habits, sense of history, justice, honesty, and patience in the poems o Seyrânîî have been examined in this study. It was aimed with this research to determine which poem of Seyrânî the right value for the Turkish ( lesson) textbooks of the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade junior highschool, and how these required values could be revealed with his poems.
