Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is known that the extracts of Jimson Weed (Datura stramonium L.) which are known to have a toxic effect on living organisms owing to some alkaloids contained in it, wilting agent factor Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melonis, root rot (sediment) agent factor Rhizoctonia solani AG-3 and white rot agent factor Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, and fire blight factor Erwinia amylovora 6-A, branch cancer factor in stone fruit the effect on Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae was investigated. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to the use of biochemical preparations which may be alternatives to pesticides and to develop methods that are sensitive to human health and environment in the fight against plant diseases. 15, 30, 45 and 60% concentrations of aquatic and methanol extracts obtained from powdered leaves of Satan diamond were prepared and applied against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melonis, Rhizoctonia solani AG-3and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum fungi and Erwinia amylovora 6-A and Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae bacteria. In the study while aquatic extracts showed a high effect on fungi at 30, 45, 60% concentrations that 15% concentration showed at the least improvement. As to methanol extracts showed high effect at all concentrations. Not any extract of the devil diamond had any effect on these two bacteria. In considerations of these data, aquatic and all methanol extracts obtained from the Jimson weed may have effect on some fungal factors, but not any extract's effect on bacterial factors.
