Abstract (EN)
Sayyid Sıbğatullah Arvâsî is one of the most important Sûfîs who lived in Anatolia in the 19th century. Sayyid Sıbğatullah, also known as 'Gavs, Gavsu'l-Azam, Gavs-ı Hizani', which constitutes an important ring of the Nakşîbendî Hâlidî range, is considered to be one of the most important figures in the establishment and spread of Sûfîsm in Anatolia. In this study, the political, religious and mystical situations of the period in which Arvâsî lived in many of the current Naqshi ranges, his life, his sûfî personality and his mystical views, his only known work, Minah, will be evaluated mainly. Thus, this study allows us to present an intellectual framework that will clarify Arvâsî's personality and mystical thought.
