Approximate fixed point property in intuitionistic fuzzy normed spaces

This thesis consists of four parts. In the first chapter, general information is given for a better understanding of the subject that forms the basis of the thesis study. In the second part, the basic concepts of functional analysis, contraction mappings and fixed point theory, which will be used in the thesis, are emphasized. In the third chapter, fuzzy sets and their basic properties, intuitionistic fuzzy metric space and intuitionistic fuzzy normed space structures are examined according to their developments in the literature. In the fourth chapter, studies on intuitionistic fuzzy contraction mappings and the approximate fixed point property for these contraction mappings are discussed. In the last part of the thesis, new intuitionistic fuzzy contraction mappings are defined and approximate fixed point theorems for these mappings are proved.
