Banks, which are the most important component of the financial system, are institutions of vital importance for national economies. The performance of banks is the determinants of performance of country economies. Therefore, the banking sector needs to continuously analyze its performance and make continuous improvements based on identifying its weaknesses and strengths through these analyses. This study aims to analyze the financial performance of domestic and foreign banks operating in Turkey. To analyze the financial performance of banks, the Intuitive Fuzzy TOPSIS method has been used. In this study, 14 financial ratio criteria obtained from balance sheets have been used to determine the performance of banks over a 4-year period from 2019 to 2022. The criteria weights were determined by the entropy method and performance rankings were made separately for each year. As a result of the study, the best performing bank in general was ING Bank, while Halkbank showed the worst performance.
