Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze the isolation material; SF6 gas and transformer oil which are one of the most important equipments in energy systems. First of all general information about isolation material is given and the behavior of the isolation material in the transformer is studied.Transformers are named according to the isolation material they have. It is studied that when the isolation material is changed in the transformer which has same interior structure, how technical support should be made in order to increase the efficiency. Oil insulated transformers and SF6 gas insulated transformers are compared according to their weak and strong characteristics.Key words: Gas insulated transformers, GIT, SF6, transformer oil
