Abstract (EN)
The isolation of Streptococcus spp. from milk samples, species identification of the isolates with conventional and molecular methods and determination of molecular epidemiology of the isolates were aimed in the study. For these aims, 100 milk samples were investigated. Streptococcus spp. were isolated from 23 of 100 (26%) milk samples, and from these Streptococci, 13 (57%) and 10 (43%) strains were identified as S. Dysgalactiae and S. uberis by conventional methods, respectively. The same strains were investigated by molecular methods, 3 (13%) and 9 (39%) of strains were identified as S. Dysgalactiae and S. uberis, respectively.
