The study of Siegfried Fink's contributions to percussion instruments

In this study, Siegfried FINK?s works of art and his study methods were analysed with his biography; the technical and melodic contributions and the usage of these methods were investigated; his innovation of pictograms which provide a common language on percussion instruments were also investigated and analysed thoroughly.In the composer?s biography part, where his percussion workshops and educational background took place,what he managed as a tutor,his concerts and achievements,his innovations and pioneering jobs were stated out.In the analysis part of his study methods and works of art, how these methods and works enhance percussionists was considered.Which tecnique,melody or accompaniment were aimed to improve with the studies in the methods written for the snare drum,the timpani and the xylophone, were analysed and investigated in details.In this study,FINK's technical contributions and the benefits of these techniques in instrument playing were also mentioned.Moreover, in this study, FINK?s innovation pictograms, which can be used in studies and works of art by percussionists as a common language without a specific language, were introduced.In addition, by which instrument and how these pictograms can be used were investigated and deducted.
