Examining images related to smoking addictiion using the eye tracking method

February- 2025; Pages: IX+61 The concept of addiction nefers to continuing a subtance despite social, physical and psyhological resasons, not abandoning it despite the desire to guit, and not stopping the desire to take the substance. Cigarettes are one of the substances that cause addiction due to the psychoactive substance nicotine found in tobacco. Cigarette addiction also affects the cognitive of the functions and emotiönal state it affects the brain. The purpose of the research is to determine the awareness effect of visuals prepared about smoking addiction on people. For this purpose, visuals selected from various internet sites and Yeşilay Web page smoking addiction posters will be examined by experts using the Eye-Tracking method. This study will also fulfill an important function in terms of conducting such studies by providing originality and difference to the experiments to be conducted in the field of Neuromarketing. It will help to create new fields and conduct new studies in these fields by bringing different disciplines together. In addiction, neuromarketing is expressed as the use of neurosciense technigues in understanding the reaction of the human brain to marketing stimuli or the neurological examination of the individual's reacitions and state mental state when faced with a marketing message.
