Dictionary of Şihâbî Dîvânı (Context index and functional dictionary)

XVI. The 19th century is a period in which Turkish culture and civilization, and therefore Turkish art and literature, developed and excelled in many ways. In this century, there have been developments in the fields of history, art, science and literature. XVI. century, contains the most well-known and most productive poets of divan literature. Şihâbî also took his place in this richpoet cadre. In our study, the contextual index and functional dictionary of the Shihâbî Dîvân was created within the scope of the TEBDİZ (Contextual Index and Functional Dictionary of Historical and Literary Texts) project. Before moving on to the dictionary part, inferences were made about the poet, albeit limited, based on the information we obtained; The religious, mythological, legendary, historical and love story heroes that are the source of the Divan are mentioned and examples of the use of these heroes in poems are given. In addition, inferences were made about the language and style of the work, and the preferred verse forms and meter preferences were shown in tables by examining the form of the Dîvân. What the TEBDİZ project, which determines the method of our study, is, what reasons it emerged, the works that were implemented for the first time and the purpose of the project were tried to be given under the title of "Concordance Type Dictionary". The method used while preparing the dictionary is presented just before the dictionary section.
