The research on the seed yield and some agricultural properties of different peanut cultivars to be main product in Siirt ecological conditions

This study was carried out the application area of Faculty of Agriculture, Siirt University in 20 15. The study was conducted in randomized block design with three replications to determine the yield an d some agricultural properties of 7 peanuts cultivars (cv.Batem-5025, cv.NC-7, cv.Florispan, cv Batem-Ci hangir, cv.Çom, cv.Gazipaşa and cv.Arıoğlu-2003) in Siirt ecological conditions. According to the results of the study, differences among cultivars were not significant statistically in terms of the number of pod p er plant and the number of seed per plant, while differences were significant statistically at the level of 5% in terms of oil yield. Differences among cultivars were significant statistically at the level of 1% in terms o f plant height, the number of branches per plant, pod weight per plant, 100-seed weight, seed rate in pod, s eed yield, protein rate, protein yield and oil rate. The values of seed yield ranged between 311.43 kg/da a nd 561.7, the oil yield between 144.09 kg/da and 260.32, the oil rate between 37.23 and 49.39 %, the prot ein yield between 69.15 kg /da and 142.67, protein rate between 21.71 and 27.86 %, seed rate in pod betw een 59.33 and 73.33 %, 100-seed weight between 50.33 and 90.66 gr gr, the number of seed per plant bet ween 52.2 and 80.06, pod weight per plant between 35.06 and 99.06 gr, the number of pod per plant betw een 32.93 and 49.66, the number of branches per plant between 5.73 and 9.93 and plant height between 2 9.93 and 44.2 cm. The lowest seed yield was obtained from cv.Florispan with 311.43 kg/da, while the hig hest seed yield was obtained from cv.NC-7 with 561.7 kg/da. The highest oil rate was obtained from cv.B atem-5025 with 49.39% and the lowest oil rate was obtained from cv.Gazipaşa with 37.23%. Keywords: Peanut, Adaptation, Seed yield, Protein rate, Oil rate
