Researches on determination yield and yield components of some common vetch (Vicia sativa L.) genotypes in irrigable conditions of siirt

This research was carried out determine forage and seed yield of some common vetch (Vicia sativa L.) genotypes in order to examine some agricultural characteristics during the 2015-2016 vegetation period in Siirt conditions In research was used as material IFVS 715 ve D-135 lines, Kubilay-82, Dicle, Alınoğlu-2001, Kralkızı, Görkem, Özveren, Doruk and Alper common vetch genotypes. In the research was set up randomized complete block experimental design with three replicates. The study was investigated agricultural properties such as natural plant height, main stem length, main stem number, forage yield, hay yield, crude protein ratio, crude protein yield, ADF and NDF ratio, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, seed yield, As a result of research, main stem number, ADF ratio and number of seeds per pod characteristics examined, except among genotypes for all other parameters are determined significant differences in statistical terms. According to the result natural plant height, main stem lenght, main stem number, forage yield, hay yield, crude protein ratio, crude protein yield, ADF ratio, NDF ratio, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, seed yield and thousand seed weight were changed between 64.9-82.1 cm, 89.7-113.7 cm, 4.8-5.6 number, 19744.0-39022.0 kg ha-1, 4060.0-8351.0 kg ha-1, 10.7-17.8 %, 507.0-1493.5 kg ha-1, 32.85-37.80 %, 39.79-46.86 %, 19.1-35.7 number, 3.5-4.9 number, 1019.0-2390.0 kg ha-1, 57.80-77.93 g respectively. According to these results, under the climate and soil conditions of Siirt; for the forage production common vetch genotypes "IFVS-715" was suggested and for the seed production common vetch genotypes and "D-135" was suggested.
