This study investigated the physical and mechanical properties of ready mixed concrete produced in different batch plants in Siirt city. The batch plants were named as A, B, and C. C25 concrete that was produced in these batch plants were tested under pressure, porosity, high temperature, freezing/thawing and bending. Samples of 28 days were used for these experiments and the endurance values of 28 days were compared under necessary attention. İt was seen that the produced concrete at every three hours covered 28-days pressure resistance. Also, it was detected that the concrete produced in C batch plant had a porosity value of 8.46%, which is lower than the porosity values belonging other batch plants. İn the experiment of freezing/thawing, it was recorded that average pressure strength of concrete produced in plant A is 11.73% while it was 7.33% in plant B and 5.52% in plant C. It was discovered that freezing/thawing led to deterioration on concrete samples, but the deterioration was not significant. In high temperature experiments, the samples were exposed to 300-400-500-600-800°C. Together with temperature increase, pressure strength-loss on concrete produced at all plants also increased, but the top loss was seen at the degree of 600-800 with a rate of 70.4% strength-loss. According to the acquired data, in order to decrease deterioration effect of environment on concrete, it was concluded that water/cement ratio should be adjusted carefully, and suitable supplemental additives and aggregates should be selected meticulously. No matter how quality had the concrete produced in the plants, only laboratory results of the samples would not be sufficient. Therefore, it was concluded that necessary curing process after concrete placing is highly crucial and shall be cared. Keywords: ready mixed concrete, Siirt, Supplement
