Abstract (EN)
Separation of symphysis pubis is usually a type of injury caused by a high energy impact. Plate fixation is used extensively in the treatment of these injuries. In this study; a 32-year-old healthy female donor computed tomography data was used to construct a three-dimensional pelvic solid model and performed symphysical pubis separation. The study is a finite element analysis study and consists of two stages. In the first stage, fixations with 3.5 mm thick 6 hole reconstruction plate and 3.5 mm thick 4 hole symphysis plate were compared biomechanically. In the second stage, the biomechanical effects of the length and placement of the screws used in fixation with 6-hole reconstruction plate on fixation system were investigated. All analyzes were performed in Ansys 18.1. In all analyzes, two different loads were performed to simulate posture on two legs and on one leg. In this study, it was aimed to guide surgeons in choosing the screws to be used during plate fixation of symphysis pubis separation.
