Abstract (EN)
In the thesis the time-dependent Maxwell's equations with piecewiseconstant coefficients are considered. These equations describe theelectromagnetic waves in layered anisotropic media. The main problemof the thesis is initial value problems for two layered and threelayered media. The main results are the following. The explicitformulae for the solutions of the considered problems areconstructed. Finding the explicit formula the method ofcharacteristics and matching conditions have been used. Forsimulation of electric and magnetic waves symbolic transformation inMATLAB is used.
