Abstract (EN)
In this documentary study, the samples related to the jazz music that could not appear in the silent period within the historical development of the cinema has been discussed and it has been shown that the jazz music has started to appear in the movies, called as "The Singer of Jazz", in the sound movie period. In some ways, the documentary has consisted of some movies that are about the lives of jazz artists or jazz music within the history of the cinema. As a result, this documentary that bears the name of Jazz in the cinema mentions audiovisual process that consists of fiction or documentary within the scope of cinema and jazz relations.
