Abstract (EN)

The phrase `organizational climate` has been widely used in the field of management in Turkey recently, and it has occupied the scientific field at length as a result of the fact that many organizational foundations have been applying it in the researches or investigations. We can explain this phrase as the atmosphere of general psychology which refers to a situation in which the develops organization with a perceptional way. This concept is considered as a key feature of success centralizing the human. In recent years, it is observed that the functionality of the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in terms of management has not been focused so much in literature reviews in all over the world and Turkey. In this respect, the organizational climate which is the basic part of the investigation and how it can be implemented has turned into the main point as a target in this process.In this investigation which aims to describe the perception of the organizational climate in the non-governmental organizations(NGOs), Turk Ocakları Association?s administration board, members and volunteers have been chosen as respondents. This communal foundation which was composed before the declaration of the republic and is currently active that can be seen nationwild and as one of the oldest non-governmental organizations of the Turkish History. Total 530 questionnaires have been sent to 20 different cities from 7 regions and 393 of them have been confirmed as valid and then they evaluated to get some results in SPSS study.Evaluating the current data, the results showed us that organizational climate is commonly admitted as `open climate?. Furthermore, other important results indicate that this conception meaningfully differs in term of ?sincerity and cooperation? according to attendants? gender and their locations; in term of ?trust and obediance? according to the positions of the attendants in the organization, their genders and their locations; in term of ?responsibility? according to the duration the attendants have taken part in the organization; and lastly in term of ?fairness? according to their position as well.Key Words: Organizational Climate, NGO, Turk Ocakları Association
