Contributions of non-government organizations to education, cultur and sportive activities activities: Anatolian platform as example

Civil society is a situation in Europe which people have set out to defend their rights. An organization like Europe would not exist in the Ottoman period. With the Republic, we can evaluate civil society in three periods. The expectation in a single party period, a struggle started with the Menderes period and lasted up to 90s and the acceleration period of 2000s. In our thesis, it was examined what the civil society organizations are doing about education, culture and sports fields in the sample of Anatolian education and invitation volunteers platform. The talks with the officials of the Anatolian platform and the books that had been published were scanned and the outline of the thesis was created. Investigating the madrasahs which were a historical movement in education field, the civilianisation in education was discussed. The educational effect of the modernization developing in the world was discussed and the Western admiration in our country and the position of the Anatolian Platform against this situation was tried to be summarized. Since the Anatolian platform is an Islamic movement by its structure, the studies made by the Anatolian platform have been evaluated in the context of Islamism. The contribution of the Islamic movements to the advancement of civil society in Turkey is undeniably considerable. For this reason, the impact of Islamic identities to the civil society was also referred. The translation source developments in the Islamic NGO‟s self-identity formation in Turkey were significantly examined.
