Abstract (EN)
The study was carried out on 73 Holstein dairy cattle raised in a private farm in Kırklareli. The linear type characters of the cattle were determined and their relations with milk yield were investigated. The animal material was selected from the first lactation and early lactation period (30-150 days). As linear type characteristics, the average for rump height (SY) 6.87±0.16, dairy form (SK)7.27±0.16, body depth (BD) 8.35±0.07, chest width (GG) 5.89±0.16, rump width (SG) 6.83±0.11, rump angle (SE) 4.28±0.14, rear leg angle (ABA) 6.50±0.15, nail base height (TTY) 6.69±0.12, knee structure (DY) 7.13±0.08, rear leg placement (ABD) 7.60±0.15, fore udder attachment (ÖMB) 7.12±0.14, rear udder height (AMY) (AMY) 7.31±0.11, central ligament (MMB) 6.67±0.12, udder base height (MTY) 4.56±0.14, fore teat placement (ÖMBY) 6.00±0.12, fore teat length (ÖMBU) 5.60±0.11, rear teat placement (AMBY) 7.04±0.13were scored. In the way, the herd is close to the score range (80-84) according to the current standards and is suitable as a kept for breeding in the general evaluation. When the correlation coefficients of the traits examined in the study were evaluated very high and significant relationships were found. In addition, between the second control milk yield (KSV2) and the average control milk yield (KSVORT) (r=0.94); between first control milk yield (KSV1) and mean control milk yield (KSVORT) (r=0.90); between linear type index score (İTİP) and total score (TP) (r=0.89); it was found to be between the 100P index score (İ100P) and the total score (TP) (r=0.86). Two different control milk yield and control milk yield averages taken from animal as 32.99±0.45; 36.46±0.62 and 34.73±0.50, respectively. These values were accepted as high level for animal. The mean of linear type index score (İTİP), 100 Point index score (İ100P)and total score (TP) obtained from it were found to be as55.44±0.22; 79.54±0.60 and 61.47±0.28, respectively. In terms of total score, the mean yield of the first and second control was significant between the low and high groups (P<0.01).Similarly, the mean control milk yields were significant between the low and high groups (P<0.01).
