Abstract (EN)

This thesis aims to examine the critical role of political propaganda on voter behavior, the voting tendencies of voters, and the impact of ideology, economy, health, and education policies on voter behavior in political propaganda. It also aims to analyze the reliability and validity of the Voter Tendency Scale, which was developed based on expert opinions within the scope of the research. A total of 205 voluntary individuals aged 18 and above participated in the study, and scientific analyses were conducted using the SPSS 22 statistical package program. As a result of the Exploratory Factor Analyses, a four-factor scale was established, with factor loadings of 0.40 and above and eigenvalues of 1 and above. The four sub-factors, which explained 73.991% of the total variance, were identified as Economy, Education, Health, and Ideology. The reliability of the Voter Tendency Scale was obtained as Cronbach's Alpha (α) = 0.924, with the sub-dimension reliabilities ranging between 0.80 and 0.92. The Voter Tendency Scale was developed as a reliable tool to determine voter preferences. Furthermore, it shows that economic factors have a greater influence on voter preferences than ideology, health, and education. It is emphasized that political parties should consider economic interests in their strategies, and that health and education factors could also serve as valuable references for future research.
