Examining of primary school teachers' and primary school teacher candidates' reflective thinking disposition in terms of some variables

The purpose of this research is examining primary school teachers' and primary school teacher candıdates' reflective thinking disposition in terms of some variables. Genereal screnining model method is used in this research. The study samples consist of 299 class teachers who work in Gaziantep University in 2016-2017 Academic year and 120 students who are junior and senior students in Gaziantep. Sample of research is selected simple random sampling method. The 'Reflective Thinking Tendency' scale developed by Semerci (2007) and the personal information form developed by the researcher were used for primary teacher candidates and primary teachers who participated in the research. There are two kinds of demographic information form in personal information form for primary school teachers and candidates. The data that obtained from research were analyzed by independent parameter through use of t-test, one way analysis of variance and LSD test. At the end of the study ın the primary school teacher candidates' and primary school teachers' opinions regarding the reflective thinking disposition primary school teacher candidates' and primary school teachers' reflective thinking disposition differ significantly in terms of gender and place of growth variables. In the primary school teacher candidates' opinions regarding the reflective thinking disposition, primary school teacher candidates' reflective thinking disposition no significant differences in terms of grade awarage, education level of parents variables. In the primary school teachers' opinions regarding the reflective thinking disposition, primary school teachers' reflective thinking disposition did not differ significantly in terms of graduation degree, alma mater type, education level of teachers, professional seniority variables.
