Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to determine the digital profiles of classroom teachers working in public primary schools according to their digital culture perceptions. For this purpose, it was examined whether the variables of gender, age, professional seniority, educational status and in-service training status of classroom teachers create a significant difference in the digital profile. In this study, in which the quantitative research method was used, the general survey model was used. The population of the research consists of 1726 classroom teachers working in public primary schools affiliated to the Directorate of National Education in the Battalgazi and Yeşilyurt districts of Malatya in the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 972 classroom teachers working in public primary schools in Battalgazi and Yeşilyurt districts, determined by simple random sampling method and on the basis of easy accessibility, but the number of scales included in the evaluation is 810 due to missing and incorrect marking of some scales. The "Digital Native, Digital Immigrant and Digital Hybrid Teacher Scale" developed by Şad and Donmuş (2017) was used as a data collection tool. In the analysis of the data, the single sample chi-square test and the chi-square test for two variables were used. The findings obtained in the study revealed that the majority of classroom teachers both adopt digital environment and use digital resources and show a digital hybrid feature that cannot break away from traditional methods.
