The relationship between attitude levels and vocational relationship on the use of technology in education in classroom teachers

The basic objective of the research is to examine the relationship between the attitudes of the classroom teachers towards the use of technology in education with their attitudes towards teaching profession in terms of various variables. To this end in the first dimension, the relationship between the attitudes of the classroom teachers towards the use of technology and their attitudes towards the profession is analyzed. Whereas in the second dimension the technology attitudes are examined in terms of some independent variables (gender, age, professional seniority, marital status) which is considered as they might affect the attitudes of the teachers towards the use of technology and at the same time also the relationship between the attitutude levels of the teachers towards teaching profession is examined in terms of these variables. Especially the level of perception of the classroom teachers is a positive factor in their in-class/out-of-class technology uses. In this study where the relationship between the level of attitudes of classroom teachers regarding the use of technology in education and their attitudes towards the profession is examined, the attitudes of the participants towards the teaching profession and their attitudes towards their use of technology in education is investigated according to various socio - demographic variables. As a result of the study, while a positive affect of job title, professional seniority, wage satisfaction, the relationship with the managers variable is observed on the teaching profession of the participants and it seems that there is no meaningful relation of the gender, age, having a computer certificate, marital status, relationship with the managers variable on the teaching profession. As a result of the study, there seems to have a meaningful relationship between the attitudes of classroom teachers towards the teaching profession with the self-efficacy perceptions related to teachership. When the attitudes of the participants towards technology use in education were examined, there seems to have a meaningful relationship of the age, occupational title, professional seniority, having a computer certificate, wage satisfaction, the relationship with the managers variable on the use of technology in the education and there seems to have no meaningful affect of the gender, marital status variable on the use of technology in the education. There seems to have a meaningful relationship between the attitudes of the classroom teachers towards the teachership profession and self-efficacy perceptions related to the teachership.
