Abstract (EN)
?Elementary school teachers should work harder depending upon the change and renovation of the content of the work defined in their task definition since the constructivistic approach entered into our education system. Since the quantity of the work that should be done without concession of quality in the definite time unit has increased, all of the mentioned increased the teachers' workload? (Karaokur Akdağ & Göksoy, 2012) It is believed that the situation may create a difference between the quantity of the work and the perceived workload in favor of the latter. The aim of the study is to determine the level of the workload perception of the elementary school teachers (1 to 4 grades) according to new education system 4+4+4 and to determine whether there is a significant difference between the level of the workload perception related to demographic, social and environmental dimensions. The sample of the research is randomly chosen 295 elementary school teachers from 22 schools working in Pendik district, İstanbul. The study was conducted in 2012-2013. The findings of the research is important since it might give an insight to the teachers while evaluating the occurences and the people via acquiring them a point of view by means of the work and the stakeholders.
