Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to stabilize the guidance expectations from the inspectors about the teacher qualifications of primary school teachers.In the research, it is focussed on the opinions related to the primary school teachers? expectations from the inspectors about the teacher qualifications.The participants of the research are twenty teachers who work in the city center district in Düzce in 2007-2008 Educational Year.Sample group isn?t used.In the research qualitative research method is used.The research involves collecting data using a method with question-answer and also guiding questions.The data of the research is analyzed using content analysis technique.The interview questions are prepared by the researcher with the control of consultant for collecting the data.Expert opinions are applied for the validity of interview questions.Interview questions involves nine dimensions.These are the solution of the problem, the student?s development features, taking into account the student, providing democratic education atmosphere, education right, personal differences, students? needs and interests , assessment and evaluation, students? future expectations.According to the research findings;The result is that primary school teachers? expectations from inspectors paying attention to personal differences suitable for the students? development features and presenting activities suitable for the students? development features.It is found that primary school teachers? expectations from inspectors taking into account students and showing this behaviour.It is stabilized that primary school teachers? expectations from inspectors showing sample behaviours about providing democratic education and guiding the teachers to live the democracy in the life.The result is that primary school teachers expect from the inspectors to be guided and informed about the education right.It is understood that primary school teachers expext that inspectors should give conferences and seminars to update the teachers? information about personal differences.It is understood that primary school teachers? expectations from inspectors are suitable methods, techniques, and materials to motivate the students and to get the students? attentions.Primary school teachers think that they have the lack of assessment and evaluation.They have expectations from inspectors about this topic.It is found that according to the primary school teachers? opinions they have expectations from inspectors that the teachers should be guided about professional guidance and the inspectors should give seminars for students to decrease their future anxieties.Key Word: Primary School Teacher, Teacher Qualifications
