Abstract (EN)

Si-modified Na0.67Mn0.5Fe0.5O2 samples were successfully produced, and their structural properties were examined by x-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) measurements. The XRD analysis showed an amorphous structure, and peaks representing impurities were observed due to Si modification. Furthermore, the lattice parameters were almost unchanged with the addition of Si. The Si-modified cells show similar cycling voltammetry (CV) graphs with the CV of the undoped cells. According to charge/discharge cycling measurements for constant current at room temperature, the lowest capacity fade was obtained for Na0.67Mn0.5Fe0.48Si0.02O2. The cycling measurements were also investigated at 50°C, and it was observed that the electrochemical properties was changed with temperature. Keywords: Na0.67Fe0.5Mn0.5O2, Si-modification
