Özet (EN)

This research was planned to determine the silage ability of rice straw by adding Corn Silage(CS) and Fresh Sugar Beet Pulp(FSBP). 6 main groups were created within the scope of the study. CS was used as a different feed source in 3 of the groups and FSBP was used in 3 of them. Each group has a control group containing SM and YŞPP. No additives were added to the control groups. NaOH was added to a group containing CS and FSBP, and Lactobacillus plantarum was added to a group. The groups created in the research were left to ferment for 60 days in 200 gr vacuum bags. After sixty days of fermentation, Dry Matter(DM), Crude Ash(CA), Crude Protein(CP), Crude Fat(CF), Neutral Detergent Fiber(NDF), Acid Detergent Fiber(ADF), Lactic Acid(LA), Butyric Acid(BA), Acetic Acid(AA), Propionic Acid(PA) and pH analyses of the groups were performed. Afterwards, the samples were incubated in the DaisyII incubator with rumen fluid obtained from the cow (Swiss Brown) for 72 hours. After the in vitro digestion trial, DM, CP, CF, NDF and ADF analyses were performed on the samples to determine in vitro digestion levels. It was observed that the addition of NaOH increased the DM digestibility of the silage samples. CP digestibility was found to be higher in the groups containing FSBP compared to the groups containing CS. In vitro digestion experiments of the samples revealed decreases in NDF and ADF levels. It was observed that the highest NDF digestion occurred in the groups containing NaOH. In the study, it was observed that NDF and ADF digestion was higher in the groups with FSBP. Based on the results obtained from the analysis, it was noted that higher digestibility was observed in the groups containing rice straw and FSBP together. It is thought that with the information obtained within the scope of the study, it will be possible to further improve the digestibility of rice straw with different studies to be conducted on rice straws in the future.
