Abstract (EN)

The Sogdian region, located between the Ceyhun and Seyhun rivers in the Central Asian geography, has a large, productive and historical location. The Sogdians left their mark on every nation they interacted with, especially Chinese sources, with their commercial activities, works of art and intelligence. The Sogdians, who were never able to establish a political union or establish a state, continued their existence for a long time thanks to their quick intelligence. The Sogdians were an intelligent and hard-working society who opened water channels to irrigate their fertile lands and learned every language they interacted with while preserving their language. This society, fond of entertainment and art and adhering to religious beliefs and values education, was culturally advanced compared to the societies of the period. It is a society that values women, protects women's rights through marriage contracts, and teaches children to read and write. In the Sogdian society, which has a liberal environment, the temples are side by side. It is important to examine the culture of this society, which centuries ago spent its life learning, making money and having fun instead of fighting.
