Strategy change in the national security concept of Turkey after the Cold War: Advanced line defense

In this study, the basic lines, building blocks and principles of Turkey's national security strategies will be covered and these factors will be associated with the country's power parameters. As the main scope and focus of the thesis, it will focus on the recent changes and transformations in Turkey's security strategies. The main developments and situations that cause these changes and transformations will be presented to the reader in a historical context, and then the advantages and disadvantages of the "advanced line defense" principle, which is determined as a new security strategy, will be evaluated. Finally, steps that can be taken in order to aket his concept change in the field of national defense more functional and effective will be put forward and the weaknesses of the current system will be discussed.
