A comparative view of the latest Quran translations (Sample of Muhammad Esed and Mustafa İslamoğlu)

In the historical process, the Quran was translated into Turkish as well as various languages. The number of Turkish translations since the Republican period are expressed in hundreds. in this study, in which the meaning and tafsirs of "The Message of The Quran" and "Quran: The Book of Life" prepared by Muhammed Assad and Mustafa İslamoğlu are compared, style, methods, and sources of the works were examined; similarities and differences between the works were revealed by comparing translations of various concepts and phrases and the author's approaches to various subjects. In particular, symbolic / western approaches which the authors were subjected to intense criticism, efforts to bring extraordinary situations to the rational ground, and the issues which they separated from tradition were examined. The dimensions of the interaction between the authors was tried to be determined.
