Abstract (EN)
The source of information and communication has become important in today's global world. Importance of information and communication has enabled technological developments. These technological developments redounded studying on information technologies. Using of information technology has to be adapted to changes in our time quickly and also provided to come forward information systems. Information systems are constantly interacting with each other and information technology incorporate these systems. The rapid improvements in the internet and technology have influenced the way both people and companies work. Additionally, information systems have accelerated the way of business practices of businesses and help businesses to be more efficient. Information systems have played a key role in supporting end users work activities. Therefore, end user information systems satisfaction is important. The improvements in information systems provide new opportunities to be used in field of education as well. Information systems which are used in universities make information flow easy. The purpose of this study is to investigate end user computing satisfaction of Education Management Information System of Sakarya University, called SABIS, which is a comprehensive information technology platform developed by Sakarya University. Data were obtained from Sakarya University students, faculty members and university staff by administering a survey instrument. This survey is based on end user information systems satisfaction model that was proposed by Doll and Torkzadeh(1988). Based on the results of the analysis; we could argue that majority of the end users have positive thought about the SABIS.
