Özet (EN)

In the early 20th century we can see that the social life and human relations are intertwined. People stuck inside crowds are not aware of what they are living. This uncanny situation enforcing the relations of the person with the environment and his perception turns reality into virtual things while creating new life fictions for its own. In the case of using the narratives of world without amending or deciphering them, art becomes a state that cannot be separated from reality. The individual losing his identity inside the anonymous phenomenon of the city turns into the ?other? in his familiar world. Everyday rituals with new minor additions and different quests for solution have a ?visible? and on the other hand ?isolated? property, like the modern man. The attempt of the ?others? for communication or sharing lives however removes the boundaries of privacy. The desire to show their own life to others or to include the others in this common story eventually creates the expectation for transparent life practices. The desire for creating narratives leads the individual of the modern era into explorations within the framework of personal experiences. This sense of curiosity, which seems very common in present life, turns the story kept underneath the metropolis into an art object. At this very point the art experience feeds on the reality and creates its own narrative.Within the public space where we are obliged to live together, the strangers whom we are familiar with and those we do not know of, are the invisible faces of the city. This crowd of people, which we call as ?they?, provoking a desire for tracing in the public life, is transformed into a common loop by means of art.
