Abstract (EN)

Out-of-school learning is becoming increasingly common in Europe and the world. In our country, it has started to attract attention in recent years. The aim of this research is to examine the effects of out-of-school learning on students' academic suc-cess, attitudes towards tangible and intangible cultural heritage, and concept perceptions in cultural heritage education and to determine students' views on out-of-school lear-ning..The research was implemented with a quasi-experimental design with a control group. The research group consists of 80 students attending the seventh grade in the public secondary school in the 2019-2020 academic year. Data collection tools consist of academic achievement test, intangible cultural heritage attitude scale, tangible cultural heritage attitude scale, word association test, out-of-school learning evaluation form, reflective diary and focus group interview question form. In the analysis of the data, statistical program was used in the analysis of the quantitative data, and content analysis was used in the analysis of the qualitative data.According to the results of the research, out-of-school learning significantly increased the student's academic success, SOK and SCM attitudes and concept perceptions. In addition, students have a positive view of out-of-school learning.
