Social studies teachers' assessment and evaluation in terms of applications examination of various variables

The purpose of this research, social studies teachers about assessment and evaluation practices in terms of several variables to determine their views.Research was performed with 35 Social Studies teachers in primary schools in the towns of Zonguldak including Ereğli in 2007/ 2008 education term. Datas, which were got, have been analyzed by SPSS programme.In connection with the results of the survey, it's suggested to be concentrated onpractice in classes about evaluation technics which tought in education faculties to gain of deficiencies of teachers about this subject by giving them in service training and schools should be informed all about the survey.
